Editing Your Profile

By editing your profile, you help personalize the It's Learning Experience.  You can add a photo to your profile, add your birthday and even your website!  By adding these features, the online It's Learning atmosphere feels more relational!

To start editing your profile, log in to It's Learning.  Click the My Settings tab at the top.  To edit your profile, click the Change details button.  (Note: The other buttons here are useful as well, such as changing one's password or editing the alerts).

On the Change details page, you can view all of the information for your profile.  You can put in the URL for your homepage, upload a profile picture, add a phone number and date of birth.  The Online Learning Office at Grace University suggests that you add at least a photo to add a face to the online learning experience.  The It's Learning system prefers a photo that is a square, and it is pretty simple to upload a photo!

We hope that by adding the profile information, the online learning experience will have a relational and personal feel.  Having a photo to go with a discussion post is such a small thing, but can really add to the classroom - even if the activity is online.
